Kombi is a design gallery based in New York presenting contemporary furniture and art objects from Southern Africa.
We work with leading creative voices at the intersection of design, art and craftsmanship to curate a selection of unique and handmade objects for living.
We believe that through art we share culture, experiences and ideas. Creative objects can act as introductions across oceans and borders. Through our online platform and exhibitions, Kombi is dedicated to developing a vibrant pathway between communities of creatives and collectors in Southern Africa and the United States.
Kombi is founded by Fiona Mackay, a South Africa-born entrepreneur and art advisor who divides her time between New York City, Upstate New York and Cape Town.
