Origin are master coffee roasters based in De Waterkant, Cape Town. They’ve been sourcing and roasting fine coffee since the early 2000s, so are among Cape Town’s first hands-on coffee roasters in modern times. Rather than developing a signature style, they take pride in exploration – developing multiple seasonal blends and presenting an impressive array of single-origin coffees with emphasis on African producers. With Origin, the question of ‘who makes your favourite coffee’ becomes irrelevant, as their blends are forever changing, developing, responding to season and the produce available, and always seeking new flavours.
